The Green Gable is a Canadian superhero, descended from Anne of Green Gables. He's the leader of the League of Canadian Superheroes, or the Ligue des Superheroes Canadiens :)

goodness so much vitriole, people read and enjoy the comic don't nitpick the guys characters because you sure as hell didn't make any of them yourself.

side note: there is a reason for green gable being a guy, read comic get backstory

I think they do it because Spinnerette makes fun of a lot of the superhero archtypes. And the whole "it runs in the family!" is fairly common. So... "it runs in the family" + usually done by a girl + male only child (I assume) = crossdressing superhero!
